Behavioural Issues

1-2-1 service

Session are around 1 hour

These session are for dogs who have behavioural issues, for example;

  • a high bite risk or a history of biting

  • fear based aggression

  • nervous reactivity

  • separation anxiety

  • excessive chewing

  • self destructing behaviours

  • resource guarding

  • compulsive disorders

  • excessive barking

These are all issues that can be reduced with the behavioural modification methods I use, including Counter Conditioning and Desensitisation if used consistently.

Owners are encouraged to attend at least one session a week to see progress and learn the techniques to continue the training after the programme is finished.

How long will training take?

I often get asked this question, and while I completely understand your eagerness to see results, the answer truly depends on a few key factors. The most important factor is your commitment to ongoing training. While I can provide you with all the expert advice and tools you need, it’s essential that you continue practicing and reinforcing the lessons consistently at home. Training your dog requires time and dedication, so it’s important to set aside a bit of time each day for practice.The length of the training program will vary depending on the behaviour challenges and your personal goals. Depending on your needs, I offer flexible schedules, from once a week sessions to more frequent visits, with programs ranging anywhere from 10 weeks to 12 months. Rest assured, I'm here to support you every step of the way to ensure lasting success for both you and your dog!
